THE PRO LIVE: team guide (one page)

1. Sign in

Use your PRO Play admin email and password (same as proplayco.com/admin). It still works if PRO Play is down. Everything you do is logged with your name (Servers & activity → Activity).

2. Bring a signal in: "+ New stream"

Stream name: e.g. Iraq vs Oman – AD Sports 1.
They gave us a link: paste the provider's srt://… link (and passphrase, if they gave one). Save. They will send to us: pick a Port (e.g. 4001, the next free one is filled in), save, then give the provider IP + port from the stream page. They send as SRT caller, no stream ID — exactly like we always did.
Wait for the green LIVE badge. That means we are receiving the signal.

Practising? In the New stream window, click FEED 1 … FEED 5. These are test signals (a labelled cartoon with a running timer) that work any time. Delete the practice stream when you're done.

3. Send it out: pick an output on the stream page

Button	Use it for
PRO Play	Makes the stream selectable in the PRO Play admin panel → Match → SRT HUB FEEDS → attach to the match.
Link for a broadcaster	Gives a TV channel / partner their own link. IP + port (default): `srt://65.108.66.18:5001`. Or a stream-ID name: `srt://…:9999?streamid=read:sportsfive`.
Send to an address	We push the signal to an SRT/RTMP address they gave us.

IP + port (the classic way):

Send the partner the same message as always: stream name, IP, port. Copy message (for WhatsApp) writes it for you.
Main server 65.108.66.18, backup server 23.88.117.210, same port on both.
Ports: 4000–5999. Incoming streams usually 4001, 4002…, broadcaster links 5001, 5002…. The hub refuses a port that is already used.
One connection per port. Each broadcaster gets their own port.
If a partner's firewall is strict, ask them to allow our two IPs.

Broadcaster links:

🔓 No passphrase: the short link alone works. This is easiest.
🔒 With passphrase: they also need the passphrase (sent separately). Use this for important or paid clients.
Copy message (for WhatsApp) copies the link and settings in one message, ready to send.
Link settings changes the name or security. New passphrase cuts them off until you send them the new one.

4. During the match

Connected now under a link = that broadcaster is pulling the signal.
Pause stops one output (or the whole stream) without deleting it. Resume brings it back.
Remove kills that link immediately (for a client who stopped paying, for example).

5. Recording

On the stream page → Recording → Turn on. The server keeps 1-hour .ts files (play them in VLC) for 7 days by default (Keep for… changes this, up to 60 days). Download is next to each file. One hour is about 3.5 GB; the server has about 430 GB free.

6. Alerts (on your phone)

Install the free ntfy app → + → enter the topic shown in Servers & activity → Alerts. You'll get an alert when:

a signal is lost for 30 seconds, and again when it's back;
a broadcaster disconnects;
the relay server stops answering;
the whole website is offline (this is checked from outside, by PRO Play).

Use Send test alert to check your phone. Keep the topic private.

7. Rules

Don't delete a stream that is live on PRO Play or with a broadcaster: they go black.
Test new providers on a practice stream first.
